The oeuvre

Menno Baars is much more than the flamboyant personal image he cultivates. As an artist he has his place in a sort of northern European artistic development and he is always trying new styles.

Baars’s entire oeuvre consists of wide-ranging stylistic experiments and highly individual interpretations of traditional genres such as the nude, the portrait and the landscape.
